Maryam Nawaz Sharif Chairs Special Meeting on RUDA Projects
Chief Minister receives detailed updates on ongoing initiatives and future plans.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif led a special meeting with the River Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) to receive a comprehensive update on its ongoing and completed projects.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister authorized the establishment of a dedicated police force to curb encroachment on RUDA land.
She also directed the cessation of illegal land transactions within the RUDA jurisdiction.
Imran Amin, the CEO of RUDA, provided an overview of the authority’s initiatives and developments.
Additionally, it was decided to collaborate with China and other global organizations to facilitate the progress of RUDA projects.
The Chief Minister was informed about the efforts to expand the forest area from 20% to 35%.
The meeting further assessed the advancement of RUDA’s international twin cities project.
