Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir has reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s commitment to completely eliminating Fitna Al Khwarij. During his visit to Wana, South Waziristan, he was warmly received by the Corps Commander of Peshawar.
COAS Munir vowed to pursue those involved in terrorist activities, along with their facilitators, abettors, financiers, and those provoking terrorism, until their complete elimination. He emphasized that individuals involved in criminal activities against the nation will face severe consequences for their actions.
The COAS also praised the courage, resilience, and determination of the security forces, stressing that these qualities are the foundation of Pakistan’s sovereignty. He commended the soldiers of the Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies as the true heroes of the nation, whose bravery and selfless dedication inspire the entire country.
During his visit, COAS Munir received a comprehensive briefing on the prevailing security landscape and ongoing counter-terrorism operations. He reiterated the Pakistan Army’s determination to eliminate terrorism and extremism in all its forms, ensuring the restoration of lasting peace and stability across the country,
He emphasised that those who incite terrorism and provide financial support to such acts will also be targeted.
The COAS praised the courage, resilience, and determination of the security forces, stressing that these qualities were the foundation of Pakistan’s sovereignty.
“Law enforcement agencies and the armed forces are the true heroes of the nation,” he added. “The bravery and dedication of our young soldiers inspire the entire nation and serve as a source of motivation for the people of Pakistan.”
