Manav Suthar Takes Three Wickets Without Conceding Runs

Suthar Achieves Rare First-Class Feat With Three Wicketless Runs

MUMBAI: (Sports Desk) – India’s Manav Suthar produced a stunning bowling performance for Warwickshire against Glamorgan in the County Championship, claiming three wickets without conceding a single run.

Suthar bowled just 15 deliveries across the match, with every ball resulting in a dot. All three of his wickets came through clean-bowled dismissals.

In Glamorgan’s first innings, the Indian spinner delivered only three balls before removing No. 11 batter Mir Hamza with his final delivery, wrapping up the innings as Glamorgan were bowled out for 69.

Suthar returned in the second innings and bowled two maiden overs, dismissing Chris Cooke and Jamie McIlroy to complete an extraordinary three-wicket haul.

His final figures read 2.3 overs, two maidens, no runs and three wickets.

The remarkable spell made Suthar only the second bowler in first-class cricket history to take wickets in both innings of a match without conceding a run. Leicestershire’s Tom Hayward was the first to achieve the feat against Surrey in 1895.

Suthar’s outstanding contribution came as Warwickshire secured a commanding innings-and-257-run victory over Glamorgan.
