ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Danish Taimoor has once again become a trending topic on social media after an old interview clip of actress Uzma Tahir resurfaced online, where she appeared to criticise the actor’s attitude following his rise to fame.
The viral clip, shared by Galaxy Lollywood, featured Uzma Tahir discussing Danish Taimoor’s early days in the entertainment industry. She claimed she had seen his struggles closely and recalled that he travelled by bus while working in one of his initial drama projects with her.
Uzma Tahir said that although Danish Taimoor has now become one of Pakistan’s leading television stars, people who knew him before his success still remember his humble beginnings. She also hinted that fame may have changed his behaviour and suggested some celebrities lose touch with those who supported them during difficult times.
Following the circulation of the interview clip, Malik Aqeel publicly defended Danish Taimoor through a social media post. He stated that every successful individual starts from hardship and there is nothing wrong with struggling before achieving recognition.
Controversial remarks by Dr Umar Adil on actress Nargis spark online debate
Malik Aqeel praised Danish Taimoor’s dedication and hard work, saying the actor earned his success through commitment and persistence in the industry. He added that people should respect an individual’s journey rather than belittle their past struggles.
Social media users appeared divided over the controversy. Many defended Danish Taimoor, arguing that celebrities are not obligated to attend interviews or podcasts and refusing appearances should not automatically be considered arrogance. Others questioned Uzma Tahir’s remarks and speculated whether there may have been a personal issue behind her comments.
Danish Taimoor continues to enjoy immense popularity in Pakistan’s television industry with successful dramas including Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi and Jaan Nisar among his notable projects.
