List of Deceased and Injured Released After Islamabad Suicide Blast
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the perpetrators behind the attack.
ISLAMABAD: The list of those killed and injured in the suicide blast outside the Islamabad District Court on Tuesday afternoon has been released by hospital authorities.
According to official sources, at least 12 people were martyred and 27 others sustained injuries in the powerful explosion. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi confirmed the figures while addressing the media shortly after the attack.
The bodies and the injured were shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), where an emergency was declared. A heavy contingent of police was also deployed around the hospital for security.
Hospital officials identified the deceased as Iftikhar Ali, Syed Sajjad Shah, Tariq Khan, Iftikhar Khan, Subhanuddin, Saqlain Mehdi, Safdar Ali, Shah Muhammad Sajid, Zubair Ghuman Advocate, and Muhammad Abdullah. One body is yet to be identified.

Among the injured are Islamabad Police personnel including Head Constable Muhammad Imran, Constable Imran Javed of Kohsar Police Station, and ASI Irshad from Ramna Police Station. A Balochistan Police officer, Muhammad Ramzan, is also reported to be among the wounded.
Meanwhile, citizens faced major difficulties at PIMS Hospital due to the absence of an information counter. Families of the victims struggled to obtain updates about their loved ones injured or killed in the tragic incident.
