LCCA to Serve as Practice Venue for Champions Trophy 2025: Naqvi
LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi confirmed on Saturday that the Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) ground will be used as a practice venue for the upcoming Champions Trophy.
Speaking to the media, Naqvi shared details about the PCB’s efforts to improve cricket facilities across Pakistan. “We are uplifting the grounds across the country. We will purchase lands to establish cricket grounds in more cities,” he stated, highlighting the board’s commitment to expanding and enhancing infrastructure for the sport.
Regarding the Champions Trophy, Naqvi noted that a key meeting scheduled for the day had been postponed. “The meeting that was scheduled for today had been postponed,” he said, adding that further updates regarding the Champions Trophy would be shared with the media once the situation is finalized.
