Lahore-Gangs Face Home Confinement Orders as Authorities Tackle Escalating Violence. In response to the escalating gang violence in Lahore, local authorities are implementing stringent measures against the notorious Teefi Butt and Tipu Truckanwala groups.

The Lahore Police have announced plans to confine key members and their families to their homes, and will formally request the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Lahore to enforce their detention.

Police officials report that the ongoing conflict between the Teefi Butt and Tipu groups has endangered innocent civilians, with frequent shootings and violent confrontations exacerbating the situation.

To combat this growing threat, the police have identified and detained active members of both gangs as part of their crackdown.

DIG Imran Kishor, head of the Organized Crime Unit, is preparing to send a letter to the DC Lahore, recommending the home confinement of individuals linked to both gangs. This preventative measure aims to reduce violence and enhance safety for residents in the affected areas.
