Lahore Board Announces 2026 Matric Result Date and Time

Lahore: (Staff Reporter) – The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore will announce the results of the 2026 annual matriculation examinations at 10:00am on August 6, while the names of the top position holders will be unveiled at 4:00pm on August 5, according to board officials.

Nearly 290,000 students registered for this year’s matric examinations under the Lahore Board, making it one of the largest examination sessions conducted in Punjab. Thousands of students and their families are now eagerly awaiting the official result announcement.

The result schedule comes shortly after the Lahore Board approved a 50 percent increase in remuneration for teachers and staff performing examination duties.

Under the revised payment structure, the daily allowance for superintendents has been increased from Rs1,560 to Rs2,340, while deputy superintendents will now receive Rs1,800, compared with the previous Rs1,260.

The daily remuneration for invigilators has risen from Rs1,000 to Rs1,500. Mobile inspectors will receive Rs1,620 instead of Rs1,080, distributor inspectors will be paid Rs1,800 instead of Rs1,200, and practical examiners’ remuneration has increased from Rs1,540 to Rs2,310.

Controller of Examinations Tauseef-ur-Rehman said the increase was introduced to acknowledge the dedication, integrity and valuable contribution of teachers and examination staff in ensuring the smooth and transparent conduct of board examinations.

He added that the revised remuneration is expected to improve staff morale while further strengthening the efficiency, transparency and standard of the examination system. Board officials confirmed that the enhanced payment rates will apply to all examination duties assigned by BISE Lahore.
