LAHORE: The District Education Authority (DEA) Lahore has banned private schools from conducting educational activities during winter vacations, here on Tuesday.

To enforce the ban, the DEA has formed committees for all five tehsils, each headed by a Deputy DEO. These committees will visit schools in their respective areas and report their findings to the Education Authority.

The DEA warned that strict action will be taken against any school found violating the government orders. Institutions defying the ban could face heavy fines or even cancellation of their license.
