KP Launches Fuel Support Program For Motorcycle Owners

Ehsaas Fuel Support Program Announced For KP Riders

PESHAWAR: (Web Desk) – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has introduced a major relief initiative called the “Ehsaas Fuel Support Program” to ease the burden of rising fuel costs on low-income citizens. The scheme is aimed specifically at motorcycle and scooter owners who are struggling with inflation.

Launched under the leadership of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Afridi and aligned with the vision of Imran Khan, the program will provide eligible individuals with a monthly fuel subsidy of Rs 2,000.

To qualify, applicants must own a motorcycle or scooter registered in their own name, with all transfer processes fully completed. Vehicles that are unregistered or registered under someone else’s name will not be considered eligible.

Citizens can apply through the Dastak App by downloading it from the Play Store or App Store and creating a user account. Applicants must then enter details such as vehicle registration and chassis numbers, district, and personal information including CNIC, mobile number, and full address.

Required documents include a copy of the national identity card (front and back), vehicle registration book or smart card, a clear photo of the vehicle, and—if ownership has recently changed—verification from both the buyer and seller.

Authorities stated that applications will be verified via e-Sahulat, while final approval will be granted by the Excise and Taxation Office. Applicants will be notified whether their request has been approved or rejected. Incorrect information or incomplete ownership transfers will result in disqualification.

The registration process is set to begin on April 6, and citizens can contact official helplines for further assistance and guidance.
