KP Govt Challenges Tosha Khana Case against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi

Additional Sessions Court of Islamabad suspended their sentences in the marriage case, further complicating the legal landscape for the prominent political figures.
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced its intention to challenge the new Tosha Khana case against former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in court.
Mossadegh Abbasi, Special Assistant on Anti-corruption to the KP government, dismissed the charges as baseless, drawing parallels to the previously overturned marriage case against them.
Abbasi highlighted allegations that gifts were mishandled through Tosha Khana without proper records and pricing, a claim contested by Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. Notably, the couple had been convicted in the past but were later acquitted due to lack of evidence.
