Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Braces for Severe Weather Conditions
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued a warning about heavy rainfall expected in several districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, starting today (Monday).
Moist winds from the Bay of Bengal are predicted to move into the northern parts of the province, likely bringing rain and strong winds to areas such as Peshawar, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Dir, Swat, and other districts.
Karachi and Sindh Prepare for Heavy Rainfall and Flooding
Given the expected weather, there is a heightened risk of landslides in mountainous regions and the potential for urban flooding in lower-lying areas.
The PDMA has called on all district administrations to stay alert and implement necessary precautions to minimize potential damage and ensure public safety.
