Kashmiri People Call for International Mediation, Urge U.S. to Play Key Role in Resolving Kashmir Issue

Kashmiris Thank Pakistan Army for Globalizing Kashmir Issue

ISLAMABAD: (Raja Wajid Ali): In a renewed plea to the international community, the Kashmiri people have demanded urgent intervention to resolve the decades-old Kashmir issue, emphasizing that a lasting peace in the region hinges on a just and permanent solution. The appeal comes amidst escalating concerns over human rights violations and military aggression in the disputed territory.

According to a recent report, the Kashmiris have urged the global community, including the United Nations and former U.S. President Donald Trump, to take concrete steps towards ensuring the right to self-determination for the people of Kashmir. They proposed the deployment of a peacekeeping force to safeguard civilians and called on world powers to pressure India into halting its military operations in the region.

The people of Kashmir expressed gratitude to the Pakistan Army, the Pakistani public, and the wider Kashmiri diaspora for reviving global attention to the Kashmir conflict. They credited the leadership of the Pakistan Army for presenting the issue in its true form on the international stage.

“The Kashmir issue had been sidelined for years, but now, once again, the world is watching,” the statement read. “Without resolving Kashmir, sustainable peace in South Asia is impossible.”
