KARACHI: (Web Desk) – Karachi Kings have confirmed that Australian star David Warner will continue as the team’s captain for the upcoming season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11).
While announcing the decision, the franchise said retaining Warner as captain reflects its strong confidence in his leadership and experience ahead of the new season.
The team had also secured Warner again during the PSL 11 player auction, making him a central figure in their squad plans.

Speaking after the auction ceremony, Karachi Kings’ team director Haider Azhar expressed satisfaction with the 18-member squad assembled for the tournament. He said Warner was the franchise’s top priority during the auction and the management was ready to go to great lengths to ensure he remained part of the team.
Azhar also shared his excitement over the inclusion of Salman Ali Agha and Adam Zampa in the squad. He further noted that the addition of local players Azam Khan and Mir Hamza, both from Karachi, had strengthened the team and brought additional enthusiasm to the lineup.
