Karachi Board Declares Ninth Grade Result Notice Fake, Warns of Legal Action

Professor Musharraf Ali Rajput Denies Statement in Fake Board Notice

KARACHI: (Web Desk) The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has rejected a press release circulating on social media regarding the ninth-grade results, declaring it fake and announcing legal action against those responsible.

The fabricated notice claimed that a technical fault in the board’s computer system had caused errors in students’ marks during the preparation of the results.

A board spokesperson dismissed the claims, saying there had been no system malfunction and no errors in students’ marks.

Board Chairman Professor Musharraf Ali Rajput also denied a statement attributed to him in the fake notice. The spokesperson said the board’s name and official letterhead had been misused, creating unnecessary concern among students and parents.

The board warned that strict legal action would be taken against those involved in preparing and circulating the fake press release on social media.

Students, parents and media representatives were urged not to share unverified information and to rely exclusively on the board’s official website and Facebook page for authentic updates.
