Exams Rescheduled Due to Anticipated Heatwave; New Dates Released for Matric and Intermediate Exams
As per the details, the new schedule of matric exams was announced after the postponement of exams in the wake extreme heat. The exams for classes 9 and 10, initially set for May 21-27, were deferred because of an anticipated heatwave in Sindh.
Following instructions from Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards Muhammad Ali Malkani, BSEK announced the postponement and assured students of a revised timetable. The new schedule was officially released by the board office, making it clear to students and educational institutions alike.
Similarly, the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) also rescheduled the intermediate exams, which were originally scheduled to begin on May 22, by five days. This decision is in line with the Board’s commitment to conduct examinations under favorable conditions for all students.
Moreover, the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) also delayed the inter exams starting from May 22 by five days due to hot weather.
