Abdullah Hameed Gul Dismisses Claims of General Kayani’s Foreign Assets
Islamabad: Chairman Jawanan-e-Pakistan Abdullah Hameed Gul has strongly rejected circulating rumors regarding former Army Chief General (R) Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, terming them baseless and deliberate falsehoods.
In a statement, Abdullah Hameed Gul said that propaganda based on repeated lies is being spread to mislead the public, warning against believing unverified information. He said such practices echo historical propaganda tactics and are contrary to ethical and moral values.
He clarified that on Saturday afternoon he met General (R) Ashfaq Parvez Kayani at the wedding ceremony of Major Aamir’s daughter, where several senior retired officers, including General Ehsan, General Nadeem Lodhi, General Salahuddin, and a number of prominent journalists were also present.

Abdullah Hameed Gul stated that General Kayani has been residing in Rawalpindi since his retirement and has only traveled abroad once for four days to Europe. He added that during his tenure as Army Chief, General Kayani visited Australia only once and owns neither foreign properties nor islands.
He emphasized that all claims suggesting otherwise are false and part of a continuous disinformation campaign. He urged citizens to verify information before believing or sharing it, stressing that spreading unverified news goes against clear Islamic teachings and national responsibility.
