Hafiz Naeemur Rahman, the Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami, expressed his concerns regarding the 26th Constitutional Amendment, stating that the legislation was passed under suspicious circumstances during the night. He asserted that the recent amendments undermine the essence of the Constitution.
Rahman further criticized the current parliament, claiming that many of its members are illegitimate, referring to them as products of Form 47, which relates to election results.
