Thirteen Martyred In Renewed Israeli Shelling Across Southern Lebanon Areas

BEIRUT: (Web Desk) – At least 13 people were martyred in fresh Israeli shelling across southern areas of Lebanon on Wednesday as tensions along the border continued to escalate.

According to Lebanese officials, Israeli forces launched multiple strikes targeting different towns in southern Lebanon, resulting in civilian casualties and damage to emergency response operations.

Authorities said five people were martyred in an attack on Nabatieh, including two rescue workers who were reportedly carrying out emergency duties when the strike occurred.

In another incident, four people lost their lives in Jebshit following Israeli shelling, officials confirmed.

Local reports further stated that four civilians, including a woman and a child, were martyred in a separate strike on Bint Jbeil.

Lebanese authorities said the total death toll from the attacks in the three locations had risen to 13, with civilians and emergency personnel among the victims.

The latest violence comes amid growing cross-border tensions in the region and continued exchanges of fire along the Lebanon-Israel frontier.
