Islamabad(Mudassar Iqbal); Killing of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran: Pakistan Strongly Condemns, Pakistan has strongly condemned the assassination of the leader of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran, calling it a terrorist attack.
A statement issued by the government of Pakistan deplored and strongly regretted the incident while emphasizing its non-acceptance of violence and terrorism of any nature.
It was reported that Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas, was assassinated in Tehran, provoking global condemnation.
Thereupon, Pakistan’s condemnation of that attack manifests its pledge toward regional peace and stability and raises a voice for the rightful self-determination of the people of Palestine.

The Pakistani government has called for an immediate probe into the incident and also called on all parties to work toward a peaceful solution.
