Islamabad High Court Sets Hearing for Imran Khan’s X Account Closure Request
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir of the Islamabad High Court will hear the case on November 4.
Islamabad – The Islamabad High Court has scheduled a hearing for a petition seeking the closure of PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s X (formerly Twitter) account.
The petition was filed by citizen Ghulam Murtaza through lawyer Barrister Zafarullah. The request seeks the removal and blocking of tweets posted by Imran Khan, claiming them to be illegal and malicious.
The petition further asks the court to prevent the dissemination of posts allegedly shared from Imran Khan’s X account during his incarceration.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir of the Islamabad High Court will hear the case on November 4. The registrar’s office has issued a cause list for the hearing.

The court has issued notices to Imran Khan, requesting his response, while also seeking replies from the National Cyber Crime Agency, the Superintendent of Jail, and other concerned parties.
