Islamabad Court Orders Blocking of 27 YouTube Channels

This move is aimed at curbing the spread of misinformation and protecting the integrity of state institutions.

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad’s Judicial Magistrate Abbas Shah has issued an order to block 27 YouTube channels. This decision came following a request filed by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

According to media reports, the FIA submitted a petition to the magistrate’s court, which initiated an inquiry against the 27 YouTube channels. The petition alleged that these channels were spreading propaganda and false information against state institutions.

Based on the FIA’s inquiry report, the Judicial Magistrate directed YouTube to block the specified channels immediately.

The YouTube channels ordered to be blocked include Haider Mehdi, Siddiq Jan, Sabeah Kazmi, Oria Maqbool Jan, Arzoo Kazmi, Rana Aziz Speaks, Sajid Gondal, Habib Akram, Mate Allah Jan, Asad Toor, Imran Riaz Khan, Naya Pakistan, Sabir Shakir, Imran Khan, Aftab Iqbal, Real Entertainment TV, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Daily Qudrat, Abdul Qadir, Charsadda Journalist, Naila Pakistani Reaction, Wajahat Saeed Khan YouTube, Ahmed Noorani YouTube, Nazar Chauhan YouTube, Moeed Pirzada YouTube, Makhdoom Shahabuddin YouTube, and Shayan Ali YouTube.
