Ishaq Dar Urges De-escalation During Call With Kuwaiti FM

Ishaq Dar and Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah discuss peace, dialogue, and strong ties between Pakistan and Kuwait.

Pakistan & Kuwait – (Web Desk) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar spoke on the phone with Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Foreign Minister of Kuwait. During the call, Dar stressed that dialogue is very important at this time. He said countries should avoid tension and work toward calm and stability in the region.

Both leaders shared concern about the recent situation in the region, including attacks linked to Kuwait. They agreed that peace and careful diplomacy are needed to prevent the situation from getting worse.

Dar also assured Kuwait that Pakistan stands with the leadership and people of Kuwait during this difficult time. He said Pakistan values its strong ties with Kuwait and hopes for peace and stability for everyone in the region.

They also exchanged views on matters under consideration at the United Nations Security Council and reaffirmed the historic, brotherly Pakistan-Kuwait relations.
