The suspect was previously detained but managed to flee during a court hearing in Karachi.

A suspect connected to the murder of gold medalist Irtiza during a robbery in Gulshan-e-Iqbal has been re-arrested in Khuzdar, Balochistan.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Abdul Aziz Jakhrani confirmed that the suspect was previously apprehended in Khuzdar and handed over to the Karachi police. However, he escaped from the City Court in Karachi during a hearing in June.

Irtiza, a 27-year-old mechanical engineer and gold medalist, was tragically killed on June 2 while resisting a robbery attempt in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area.
