Indian Citizen Arrested for Illegal Stay in Mandi Bahauddin

Mandi Bahauddin: Police have apprehended an Indian national, Badal Singh, for residing in Pakistan without the necessary legal documentation. The arrest took place in the Mong area, within the Saddar police jurisdiction, during a focused operation.

Singh was unable to present a valid visa or residence permit, leading to his detention under the Foreigners Act. In his statement, Singh disclosed that he hails from Nagla Khatkari in Aligarh, India.

A First Information Report (FIR) was filed against him for violating immigration laws. Following his arrest, Singh was brought before a local court, which ordered a 14-day judicial remand. He has been remanded to jail as investigations continue into the circumstances of his illegal stay.
