Indian Actor Tiger Shroff Safe After Shots Fired at Car

Two people were injured in the Juhu firing, and Mumbai Police have formed 15 teams to find those responsible.

Indian – (Special Correspondent/Web Desk) – Indian actor Tiger Shroff escaped unhurt on Sunday evening after three to four rounds were fired at his car in Mumbai’s Juhu area. Two people were injured in the incident.

According to Gulf News, the actor was leaving a ground after playing football when the shooting happened. A crowd had gathered at the spot to see him.

His driver was hurt in the attack. He suffered a gunshot wound to the arm and was rushed to Nanavati Hospital for treatment.

Another person was also injured. This person is reportedly an autorickshaw driver. Police have not shared how serious the injuries are.

Mumbai Police acted quickly after the firing. They formed 15 teams to investigate the case and find the people behind it.

The area was cordoned off soon after the incident. Forensic officers reached the spot and collected evidence.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has reportedly asked police to complete the investigation swiftly. He also wants strict action against those responsible.

The actor’s father, Jackie Shroff, spoke to reporters after the incident. He said his son was safe.

Gang claim is not confirmed

After the shooting, a video began circulating on social media. In it, a man who called himself Anil Pandit said he was claiming responsibility on behalf of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

However, nobody has verified this claim. The video’s authenticity is unclear, and no link between the gang and the shooting has been independently established.

Police have not said who carried out the attack. Until they do, readers should treat the video with care.

Why such claims need caution

Social media claims have appeared after other celebrity firing cases in Mumbai. In April 2024, a post in the name of Anmol Bishnoi took responsibility for the firing at actor Salman Khan’s home. Police later said the post was traced to an IP address in Portugal.

In February 2026, five rounds were also fired at filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s home in Juhu. These were separate cases, and nothing so far shows they are linked to this one.

Juhu is one of Mumbai’s upscale neighbourhoods, and many film stars live there. Each new incident raises fresh questions about security in such areas.

Police are expected to check nearby CCTV footage, speak to witnesses and study the forensic evidence. In earlier firing cases, investigators used this kind of material to trace the people involved.

The injured driver and the second victim are the main concern at the moment. Their condition will become clearer once police or the hospital share an update.

For now, the biggest relief is that Indian actor Tiger Shroff is safe. The investigation is still at an early stage, so many questions remain open.
