ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has accused the current government of establishing a dictatorship and engaging in state-sponsored terrorism, resulting in the deaths and disappearances of peaceful political activists.
In a strong message, Khan urged the Supreme Court to take notice of the human rights violations, as no action has been taken by the judiciary thus far.

Khan announced a grand rally in Peshawar on December 13 to honor the martyrs, extending an invitation to opposition political parties. He also revealed the formation of a five-member negotiation committee tasked with addressing two key demands: the release of under-trial political prisoners and the establishment of a judicial commission to investigate the May 9 and November 26 incidents.
The committee will include prominent figures such as Umar Ayub Khan, Ali Amin Gandapur, Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Salman Akram Raja, and Asad Qaiser, who will negotiate with stakeholders. Khan warned that if these demands are not met, a civil disobedience movement will be launched on December 14, with the government held responsible for any consequences.

He called on overseas Pakistanis to limit remittances and join the boycott campaign as part of the second phase of the movement.
