ISLAMABAD PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned key members of the National Assembly for a crucial meeting tomorrow, following reports of an alleged forward block within the party.
Sources reveal that notable PTI members Shehryar Afridi, Junaid Akbar, and Shandana Gulzar are expected to meet with Imran Khan. Additionally, Opposition Leader Umar Ayub, Leader of Opposition in the Senate Shibli Faraz, and Rauf Hassan will also be in attendance.

IHC Sets Hearing for Imran Khan’s Petition for Uninterrupted Jail Meetings
ISLAMABAD, the Islamabad High Court has scheduled a hearing for PTI founder Imran Khan’s petition requesting uninterrupted jail meetings. The court session was held, with Chief Justice Aamer Farooq presiding, who addressed and dismissed the objections raised by the Registrar’s Office. Imran Khan’s lawyer, Shoaib Shaheen, represented him in court.
During the session, the court instructed to remove the objections, number the petition, and then schedule it for a hearing. The court inquired about the Registrar’s Office’s objection regarding the inclusion of Major and Colonel as parties in the petition. The lawyer clarified that they had not included any Major or Colonel as parties but had made the Ministry of Defense a party, attaching previous court orders as well.
Subsequently, the court removed the objections and directed the numbering of the petition, scheduling the case for hearing the following day.
Court Acquits PTI Founder Imran Khan, Others in Abpara Police Station Case
ISLAMABAD: The District and Sessions Courts Islamabad have acquitted all accused, including PTI founder Imran Khan, in a case filed at the Abpara police station.

Judicial Magistrate Yasir Mehmood delivered the reserved verdict, clearing several prominent PTI figures. Among those acquitted alongside Imran Khan are Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Sheikh Rasheed, Shehryar Afridi, Faisal Javed, Raja Khurram Nawaz, Ali Nawaz Awan, and Asad Qaiser.
Defense arguments for Imran Khan, Sheikh Rasheed, and others were presented by Sardar Busy Advocate and Ansar Kayani.
The case was registered against Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Sheikh Rasheed, and others following a protest against the Election Commission’s decision.
