Imam-ul-Haq Likely to Replace Injured Saim Ayub for Test Series Against West Indies

The first Test of the Pakistan-West Indies series is scheduled to begin on January 17 in Multan

Islamabad– Pakistan’s national cricket team is set to make changes ahead of their upcoming home Test series against the West Indies, with Imam-ul-Haq likely to replace the injured Saim Ayub.

Sources have confirmed that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will announce the final squad for the series next week, following a key meeting of the selection committee. The meeting will take place after Aqib Javed returns to Pakistan, along with the national team, on Thursday.

Imam-ul-Haq, who has been out of the squad recently, is expected to make his comeback in place of the injured Saim Ayub. The team may also include off-spinner Sajid Khan in the squad, with the possibility of Shaheen Afridi’s inclusion as well. However, there are reports suggesting that Abdullah Shafique might be dropped from the squad.
