ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited D-Chowk and several duty points across Islamabad on Monday, reaffirming the commitment of law enforcement agencies to ensure law and order in the capital. During his visit, IG Rizvi interacted with officers from Islamabad Police and other law enforcement agencies to boost morale as they maintained security amidst rising tensions in the city.
Speaking to the officers, IG Rizvi emphasized the importance of staying vigilant and alert in dealing with any emerging security challenges. “We are prepared to take all necessary actions to protect the lives and property of citizens, as well as private and commercial assets,” Rizvi stated. He also reassured the officers of the police force’s dedication to thwarting any acts of violence or disruption.

He also spoke with medical staff to ensure that the officers received the best care and treatment. “These officers have shown remarkable dedication, putting their lives on the line to protect Islamabad’s residents and maintain peace,” DIG Raza said, praising their courage and commitment.
