Hot dry weather expected across Pakistan in forecast

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued a weather outlook for the next 24 hours, forecasting predominantly hot and dry conditions across most parts of the country, with no significant chance of rainfall.

In Lahore, conditions are expected to remain hot and dry, with temperatures rising up to 37°C. Light winds around 5 km/h and humidity levels near 64% are also forecast.

In the federal capital Islamabad, weather will stay dry and relatively mild. Afternoon winds may pick up strength, while temperatures are expected to range from 19°C in the morning to around 33°C during the day, with humidity levels exceeding 60%.

For Karachi, hot and humid conditions are likely to persist. Temperatures may reach 37°C, with humidity recorded at around 80%. Southwesterly winds are currently blowing at low speeds, while air quality remains a concern as pollution levels are reported to be unhealthy.

Meanwhile, dry weather is expected across Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, although partly cloudy conditions may develop in upper KP during the evening. No rainfall is expected anywhere in the region during this period.

The Meteorological Department confirmed that overall atmospheric conditions will remain stable, with heat and humidity dominating much of the country over the next 24 hours.
