Faisalabad's humble singer crowned winner as family prayers light up her victory night

Faisalabad – (Staff Reporter/Web Desk) – Hira Qaiser has won the title of Pakistan Idol, capping off a season that captured the nation’s attention. The Faisalabad singer was crowned champion during Sunday’s grand finale, a night filled with lights, music and pure celebration.

Coming from a simple middle-class background, Hira’s journey struck a chord with millions of viewers. Her powerful voice and heartfelt performances slowly won over both the judges and the public, week after week.

Speaking to Geo News after her win, Hira could barely find the words to describe her joy. She credited her success to Allah’s blessings and the endless prayers of her parents and family, who stood by her through every round.

The star-studded finale was also screened live in cinemas across Karachi and Faisalabad, letting fans soak in the excitement on the big screen. The night’s biggest highlight was a special appearance by Atif Aslam, who lit up the stage as the show’s Super Icon guest.

Legendary artists Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Bilal Maqsood and Zeb Bangash also took the stage, delighting the crowd with their performances. As judges, they had spent the season guiding and evaluating the contestants closely.

Hira walked away with the Pakistan Idol shield and a cash prize of Rs1.5 million. The seven other finalists were also honoured with shields and Rs500,000 each for their efforts.

Producer Badr Ikram praised the team’s hard work throughout the season and confirmed that Pakistan Idol will return for a third season soon, promising fans an even bigger experience ahead.
