Pakistan: The father of Shaheed Lieutenant Uzair Mehmood has conveyed his deep pride and resilience in the wake of his son’s martyrdom. Lt. Uzair Mehmood, originally from Attock, laid down his life courageously while combating the Khawarijs in Thira.
In a heartfelt message to the nation, he underscored the immense value of martyrdom, declaring, “The life of the nation is sustained by the death of a martyr.”
He also emphasized the sanctity of the land, which has been consecrated by the blood of martyrs, whose sacrifices transcend any material worth.
Continuing his legacy of devotion, he asserted, “I have two more sons and I am prepared to sacrifice them for this land as well.” His words echoed with profound patriotism and an unwavering commitment to the nation’s cause.
