Heavy traffic banned from entering Islamabad during movement of PSL teams

For travel towards the Blue Area, Sector F-6 and F-7, H-8 underpass should be used. 

ISLAMABAD: Heavy traffic will be prohibited from entering Islamabad during the movement of Pakistan Super League (PSL) cricket teams, reported on Tuesday.

Strict security arrangements will be made on the Srinagar Highway as well as diversions will be put in place at different times.

Alternative routes have been provided for traffic flow during the movement of PSL cricket teams.

According to traffic plan, traffic will remain closed from Murree Road to Serena and Faizabad via Rawal Dam.

Due to the route, traffic flow on the Srinagar Highway will be disrupted for some time and traffic will be slow.

Citizens were advised that they can use the service road connected to the Srinagar Highway.

For travel towards the Blue Area, Sector F-6 and F-7, H-8 underpass should be used.

Traffic coming and going to the Red Zone and Serena Hotel should use Margalla Road, Jinnah Avenue, Ayub Chowk and Nadra Chowk.

Citizens going to Bari Imam should use Nadra Chowk while for Sector I and H, Rawalpindi can use the service road from Peshawar Road and IJP Road.
