Federal Minister  meets Chief Minister KP, discussed overall situation of the province.

Islamabad,Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Sajid Hussain Turi met caretaker Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Azam Khan today on Thursday in Peshawar. In the meeting, the overall situation of the province, especially the development and the law and order situation in the newly merged districts were discussed in detail.
Talking to the Chief Minister of KP, Federal Minister Sajid Hussain Turi said that the government is committed to provide equal facilities to all citizens across the country and is taking initiatives to bring the districts of ex-FATA into the mainstream of the country.
In the meeting, situation of District Kurram particularly resolution of land disputes among various tribes discussed. Federal Minister Sajid Hussain Turi urged the early resolution of land disputes involving tribal elders. He said that further delay in resolution of land disputes among tribes can deteriorate the law and order situation.
Federal Minister also discussed with Caretaker Chief Minister KP the various development projects including establishment of hospitals, schools and industrial homes in Ex-FATA districts. The Issuance of online Police Character Certificates and Constitution of Overseas Committees at district levels in all KP districts were also discussed.
Sajid Hussain Turi said that Rs.180 Million was released to Workers Welfare Board (WEB) KP for education and Rs.5 Billion in general for administrative expenditure and on account of various projects. He added that flats at Regilalma, Peshawar will be handed over to workers of KP by soon for which a formal ceremony will be held soon. The Chief Minister assured his full support for maximum facilitation of Overseas Pakistanis and Workers belonging to KP province. He also assured that he will take serious notice of the land disputes in NMD particularly KP.
Meanwhile Federal Minister Sajid Hussain Turi also discussed situation and important matters related to NDM with Additional Chief Secretary KP, Commissioner Kohat and other concerned officials.
