Governor KP Challenges Chief Minister Ali Amin in Bold Move

Responding to Chief Minister Gandapur’s threats, Governor Kundi asserted, “You cannot release your founder from jail.

Peshawar: In a bold assertion of authority, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has thrown down the gauntlet to Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, asserting his control over the Governor House and daring the Chief Minister to take action.

Governor Kundi declared, “I will never allow the Governor’s rule to be imposed. Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s talk of seizing the Governor House is a challenge to him. Let him try to take over, I will take to the streets.” This statement comes amidst escalating tensions between the Governor and the Chief Minister over governance issues in the province.

Responding to Chief Minister Gandapur’s threats, Governor Kundi asserted, “You cannot release your founder from jail. If you break the law, you will also be incarcerated.” This exchange underscores the power struggle between the two leaders, with each asserting their authority over governance matters.

Governor Kundi emphasized that those who do not respect the constitution will not be engaged in negotiations. He stated, “Those who refuse to seek forgiveness will have to seek forgiveness themselves.”

It is worth noting that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur had previously announced plans to travel to Islamabad on April 25th, vowing not only to visit but also to bring the PTI founder back from there.

The ongoing confrontation between the Governor and the Chief Minister highlights the political volatility in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and raises questions about the future direction of governance in the province.
