Petrol, Diesel Prices Increase Again Effective September 9
ISLAMABAD: (Finance Reporter) – The federal government has once again increased the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel, with the revised rates taking effect from September 9, 2026.
According to the notification issued by the government, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs5.58 per litre, taking the new rate to Rs364.35 per litre.
The price of high-speed diesel has also gone up by Rs4.18 per litre, with the new price set at Rs385.95 per litre.
The revised prices will remain applicable from September 9, according to the notification.
The latest increase will add further pressure on transport and other costs, as fuel prices have a direct impact on the prices of goods and services across the country.
