Government approves Imran Khan’s medical treatment, including ophthalmologist choice, with possible transfer to private specialized facility for care.
Imran Khan – (Web Desk) – The government has agreed to an important request concerning the medical treatment of Imran Khan, the jailed former prime minister and founding chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), following recent health concerns and directions from the Supreme Court, sources said on Thursday.
Sources added that the government accepted Aleema Khan’s appeal regarding her husband’s treatment and has also approved the ophthalmologist nominated by Imran Khan and Aleema Khan from a private medical facility.
Sources revealed that there is a possibility of shifting the founding chairman and former prime minister to a private welfare institution specializing in ophthalmology for treatment.
The private institution has been informed about the potential transfer, while the designated ophthalmologist has also been notified regarding the treatment plan.

Sources added that the institution has been instructed to make necessary arrangements in view of the possible arrival of Imran Khan.
