Google Pixel 10 Series Breaks Sales Record in the US

The Pixel 10 series, launched in August, includes the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, and 10 Pro Fold.

ISLAMABAD: Google’s Pixel 10 series is off to a strong start, achieving the company’s highest-ever monthly smartphone sales in the United States this September, according to Android Authority.

Market research firm Counterpoint Research reported that US Pixel sales surged 28% year-on-year, driven by Google’s new lineup and growing presence in the premium segment. Notably, Google’s share in the $600-and-up price bracket jumped from nearly zero three years ago to over 6% by September 2025.

The Pixel 10 series, launched in August, includes the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, and 10 Pro Fold. Each model features Google’s latest Tensor G5 chip and advanced Gemini AI capabilities, which have contributed to the devices’ popularity.

Google’s marketing strategy, which emphasized AI tools, playful comparisons with iPhones, and simplified iPhone-to-Pixel data transfers, also played a key role in attracting new users to the Android ecosystem. Customers ordering through the Google Store can now prepare their iPhone data transfer even before their Pixel arrives, making the switch easier than ever.

Counterpoint highlighted that while the Pixel 10’s growth in the premium segment is impressive—rising from 0.1% in September 2022 to 6.1% this year—the comparison is not entirely straightforward. Last year, only the $899 Pixel 6 Pro was priced above $600, whereas the current Pixel 10 models all fall comfortably into the premium range.

Overall, the record-breaking sales confirm Google’s growing strength in the US smartphone market and its successful push into higher-end devices.
