Gold Prices Surge to Record Highs in Pakistan Amid International Gains
Gold prices in Pakistan saw a substantial rise on Tuesday, reversing a decline from the previous session.
The price of gold per tola increased by Rs1,100, hitting a new record high of Rs273,000 in the local market.
In addition, the cost for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs943, reaching Rs234,053, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). This uptick follows a drop of Rs600 on Monday, when gold prices were noted at Rs271,900.
On the international front, gold prices also climbed on Tuesday, reaching $2,628 per ounce (including a $20 premium), which represents an $11 increase for the day.

In contrast, silver prices stayed steady at Rs2,950 per tola.
Just last Saturday, gold prices reached a record high of Rs272,500 per tola in Pakistan.
