Gold Prices Drop Sharply in Pakistan
Tola Price Drops: Rs1,100 Decrease Brings Gold to Rs260,400
On Monday, gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant drop, with the cost of gold per tola falling by Rs1,100 to settle at Rs260,400.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs943, reaching Rs223,251.
The global gold market also experienced a decline. The international price of gold dropped by $7 to $2,490 per ounce, as reported by the APGJSA.

Additionally, silver prices in Pakistan fell after a long period of stability, with the cost per tola decreasing by Rs50 to Rs2,850.
Local gold prices remain subject to fluctuations due to various factors, including trends in the international market, currency exchange rates, and domestic demand.
