Gold Prices in Pakistan Drop Sharply Following Trump’s Election Victory

24-Karat Gold Price Falls by Rs5,400, Silver Prices Decline

On Thursday, the price of gold in Pakistan saw a significant drop of Rs5,400, mirroring trends in the global market following Donald Trump’s win in the 2024 US presidential election.

The cost of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs5,400, bringing the price down to Rs276,800, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold saw a sharp decline of Rs4,630, bringing it to Rs237,311.

In the international market, gold prices also fell by $65, settling at $2,662 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20.

The price of silver in Pakistan also saw a reduction of Rs130, reaching Rs3,300 per tola.
