Gold Price in Pakistan Today: 24K Rate Falls by Rs14,900 Per Tola
Pakistan – (Web Desk) – Gold price in Pakistan today took a big hit, leaving many buyers and sellers surprised. The local market saw a sharp drop, with rates falling across all karats and weight types. This change came on Friday, based on figures shared by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The 24-karat gold rate per tola went down by Rs14,900, bringing the new price to Rs438,036. This is a big shift for anyone planning to buy or sell gold this week.
If we look at smaller units, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also dropped. It fell by Rs13,410, landing at Rs374,205. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold saw a decline too, going down by Rs12,190 to reach Rs343,325.
The drop wasn’t only local. In the global market, gold prices fell by $149, bringing the rate to $4,156 per ounce. This shows that the dip in Pakistan is closely tied to what’s happening worldwide.
Silver prices followed the same downward path. The rate for one tola of silver dropped by Rs413, now standing at Rs6,946. For 10 grams, the price went down by Rs373, settling at Rs5,895.
On the global side, silver also lost value. The price per ounce fell by $4.13, bringing it to $64.67. The association confirmed these numbers as part of their daily market update.
