Governors of KP, GB Discuss Tourism, Stability and Cooperation
Islamabad Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, met with Governor Gilgit-Baltistan, Syed Mehdi Shah, to discuss issues of mutual interest. They emphasized the importance of cooperation for the country’s stability and development.
The governors focused on promoting tourism in both regions, highlighting their natural beauty and historical heritage. Governor Kundi stated that tourism will benefit the economy and provide local employment. He suggested joint tourism projects and facilities to expand the industry.
Governor Shah stressed the immense tourism opportunities in Gilgit-Baltistan, requiring cooperation with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He urged airlines, including PIA, to operate flights to Gilgit-Baltistan to boost tourism.
Both leaders agreed on joint efforts for political stability and economic development across provinces and regions.
