German Diplomat Found Dead in Capital Islamabad

Islamabad – Thomas Fielder, the second secretary at the German Embassy in Islamabad, was found dead in his apartment in the Diplomatic Enclave on Monday. The discovery came after Fielder failed to show up at the embassy and did not respond to repeated calls, raising concerns among his colleagues.

Embassy staff forced entry into his apartment and found him unresponsive. Local police were called to the scene, and his body was transported to the hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Fielder’s death was likely due to medical reasons, as he was known to have a heart condition. Police have stated that the exact cause of death will be determined after an autopsy report.
