Former CIA chief Brennan rejects Trump claims on Iran talks
John Brennan disputes Trump’s stance on Iran negotiations
WASHINGTON: (Web Desk) – Former CIA director John Brennan has openly challenged statements by Donald Trump regarding Iran, saying he places more trust in Tehran’s position than Washington’s claims.
Speaking to foreign media, Brennan argued that despite emerging facts, Trump has been unwilling to acknowledge realities and is instead attempting to shift focus away from what he described as a self-created setback.
He also dismissed Trump’s assertions that Iran is signaling readiness for negotiations or seeking talks on US terms. According to Brennan, such claims do not reflect the actual situation.
