Flight Chaos at National Airline Amid Ongoing Engineers’ Dispute
The airline management alleges that the aircraft engineers are opposing the privatization of the national carrier.
Karachi: The ongoing dispute between the national airline management and aircraft engineers continues to disrupt operations, causing significant inconvenience for passengers.
Over the past six days, dozens of flights have been canceled and more than 125 flights delayed due to the conflict, leaving travelers frustrated and stranded.
The airline management alleges that the aircraft engineers are opposing the privatization of the national carrier.
However, the Society of Aircraft Engineers claims that they are not against privatization but are supportive of it, adding that the airline management has not contacted them for negotiations so far.

Previously, amid similar disputes, the President and Secretary General of the Society of Aircraft Engineers were removed from their positions, intensifying tensions between the engineers and airline administration.
Passengers continue to face uncertainty and delays, highlighting the urgent need for dialogue to resolve the issue and restore normal flight operations.
