Five Terrorists Killed as D.I. Khan Police School Attack Foiled

DERA ISMAIL KHAN – In the early hours of October 10–11, 2025, a cowardly terrorist attack targeted the Police Training School in Dera Ismail Khan district. The attackers, identified as operatives of the Indian-sponsored proxy group Fitna al Khwarij, attempted to breach the facility’s perimeter in a calculated assault.

According to official sources, the terrorists rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the school’s main gate in a desperate effort to break through security. However, the vigilant and timely response of Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) thwarted the attackers’ plan, preventing a larger catastrophe.

Displaying exemplary courage and professionalism, police personnel engaged the terrorists head-on. In the fierce exchange of fire, three of the attackers were neutralised on the spot, while the remaining two were cornered inside a building complex and later eliminated during a precision clearance operation by security forces.

Tragically, six brave policemen, including trainee officers, embraced shahadat (martyrdom) in the line of duty. Twelve others, along with one innocent civilian, sustained injuries during the firefight.

The terrorists also desecrated a mosque within the school premises and barbarically murdered the Imam, an unarmed civilian who was performing religious duties at the time of the assault. This act of brutality underscores the inhumanity of the attackers and the vile objectives of their foreign-backed campaign.

Sanitisation operations in the area are ongoing, with authorities vowing to bring all facilitators and perpetrators of this heinous act to justice. The security forces and law enforcement agencies, in unison with the resilient Pakistani nation, remain resolute in their mission to eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country.

Officials reiterated that such acts of violence will not deter Pakistan’s commitment to national security and peace. The sacrifices of the country’s brave soldiers and innocent civilians only serve to strengthen the collective resolve to protect the homeland — at all costs.
