FBR Forms Two Committees for Recruitment in Grades 1 to 16

FBR Sets Up Recruitment Committees, Makes Female Representation Mandatory

ISLAMABAD: (Finance Reporter) – The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has formed two committees to oversee large-scale recruitment for government positions ranging from Basic Pay Scale (BPS) 1 to 16.

A three-member committee has been constituted to examine recruitment cases for BPS-11 to BPS-16, while a separate committee will review appointments in BPS-1 to BPS-10.

According to the report, the Chief Management and Secretary Management will handle recruitment cases for BPS-11 to BPS-16. Meanwhile, the Secretary Administration and Second Secretary Management will review cases involving positions from BPS-1 to BPS-10.

The FBR has also approved the formation of departmental selection committees to facilitate the recruitment process.

Under the approved arrangement, each departmental selection committee must include at least one female member. If a suitable female officer is unavailable, the Establishment Division will nominate a female member to ensure compliance with the requirement.

The move comes as the FBR prepares for large-scale recruitment across various pay scales.
