Fazl Peshawar Zardari Lahore and Treen in Islamabad for engaged discussions with political figures

 

PESHAWAR  – Amidst the changing political situation of the country, Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) supremo Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Thursday decided to arrive in Peshawar on three-day visit.

The sources divulged the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief will stay in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s provincial capital for three days. During which he will also preside over the party’s central council meeting on June 10.

In the meeting, the political situation of the country will be highlighted and the strategy regarding the upcoming elections will be discussed.

The JUI-F chief will also review the issues in line with the party

Announcement comes after lawmakers’ meeting with Zardari,

A large number of political figures including former members of the National Assembly and provincial assembly belonging to Southern Punjab have announced joining Pakistan Peoples Party,

The announcement came after the lawmakers’ meeting with the PPP co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House.

Tareen engaged in discussions with approximately 30 prominent political figures,

Renowned political figure Jahangir Tareen arrived in Lahore on Thursday, amid speculation of forming a new national political party.

After a series of crucial meetings with influential personalities in the federal capital, Islamabad, Jahangir Tareen made his way to Lahore via a special aircraft.

Reliable sources have revealed that Mr Tareen engaged in discussions with approximately 30 prominent political figures during his three-day stay in Islamabad. These meetings are believed to have revolved around the prospects of establishing a new political entity.

Mr Tareen is expected to hold further talks with significant political figures in Lahore.

Jahangir Tareen, a prominent businessman and politician, previously held key positions in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
